Wilderness Survival
So popular that we added a second session! Campers will get to practice basic skills for survival away from civilization. They will work on building fires, creating shelters, knots, compass work, and even how to use a GPS unit! Camp Silver Creek offers a wonderful area to practice these skills in a safe and fun manner. Wilderness beware!

Outdoor Adventures
Brand new specialty camp for the brave explorers out there! Aspects of wilderness survival with some added adventure thrown in for fun. In addition to building shelters, being exposed to orienteering, GPS navigation; outdoor adventurers will learn about the natural world we live in at camp. Plant and tree identification, an extended overnight using the skills learned through the week, animal tracking, and other adventures await the Outdoor Adventurer at YMCA Camp Silver Creek.
