Payments & Cancellations

The Salem Family YMCA offers three convenient methods of payment. Plus, the YMCA will not ask you to sign a membership contract - ever.

Bank Draft (EFT)

Monthly dues are automatically deducted from a bank account or credit card on the 15th or 26th of each month, and represent payment for that month's dues. That is, dues drafted from your account on May 15th or 26th represent payment for May dues.

Annual Payment

Cash, check, or credit card payment is accepted for the remainder of the calendar year. Members who pay one year in full by January 31st receive a 5% discount.

Over-the-Counter

Pay your membership fee month-to-month using cash, check, or credit card. There is no joining fee, but monthly dues are 150% of EFT rates.

Cancellation

While we hate to see members go, we understand that sometimes it has to happen. Please be aware that all cancellations must be made in writing by completing a Cancellation Form, which can be picked up at the Front Desk. Cancellations must be made by the last day of the month to avoid an automatic withdrawal in the following month. For example, if a cancellation is made on August 3, dues will still be withdrawn on either August 15th or 26th. If you wish to cancel your membership for the month of August, you must cancel by July 31st.
