IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ THIS FIRST:

At the end of the online registration process you will be required to pay the entire fee (or for some programs, a minimum deposit) for the sessions you register for. We cannot apply discounts, coupons, or scholarships through online registration - please call or visit us in person to register and claim any discounts.

Online Registration Frequently asked Questions:

Can I purchase a YMCA Membership online?
No, not at this time. We feel it is important to meet prospective members in person. This helps us get to know each of our members, helps us answer your questions, and spreads an understanding of what makes the Salem Family YMCA different from other organizations.

Whom can I notify regarding errors or other technical concerns?
We work hard to ensure that this web site is accurate and fully functional at all times. However if you spot a data error or have difficulties using our site, you can contact info@youry.org and we will strive to resolve the problem.

How do I pay for Programs I register for online?
Currently our online registration allows for VISA, MasterCard, and American Express payments. In the future bank draft EFT transaction may be supported.

Can I use a letter of credit, system credit, coupon or other discount online? If you wish to use a letter of credit, a coupon, or some other form of discount, you will need to contact the Salem Area YMCA at (503) 581-9622 to register for your program. Currently our online registration does not accept forms of payment other than VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

What does "Your e-mail address has not been registered" mean?
If you are a YMCA member, Program Member, or Contributor your account will be accessible online. However, this error states that you have not registered your on-line identity with our database yet. There are 2 ways you can register your on-line identity:

  1. Move to Option 3: I've never used the online registration system and enter your last name, DOB, and ZIP Code.You will then be asked to register your email address and password.
  2. You can contact the Salem Family YMCA to enter your email address and your password into our database for you.

What does "No member was found with the e-mail address you supplied" mean?
This error occurs when you are attempting to reset your password, but your email address doesn’t exist in our system. If you are a YMCA member, Program Member, or Contributor your account will be accessible online. There are 2 ways to resolve this message:

  1. Move to Option 3: I've never used the online registration system and enter your last name, DOB, and ZIP Code. You will then be asked to register your email address and password.
  2. Contact the Salem Family YMCA at (503) 581-9622 to enter your email address and your password into our database for you.

What does "We could not locate your account based on the information provided" mean?
This means the info our database holds about you differs from the info entered through on-line registration. The database contains all active members, program participants and contributors as of April, 2007. If you think you should be in our database and receive this message, it could be possible there is an error or empty field in your record. Please contact the Salem Family YMCA at (503) 581-9622 to review your record and make corrections or updates to our database.
