YMCA IS ALWAYS IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS!
Take on a leadership role. If you are willing and want to give back to this wonderful community we all share, please call the YMCA at 503-838-4042 to do something good.
We need volunteer leadership at:
- Pee Wee Series — Teaching 4 – 6 year old children sports.� Mature youth (starting at Jr. High) and adults.
- School-Age Care assistant: Work with kids in grades K through 5 and engage in fun game activities, work with students with their homework and just be a mentor.
- Gymnastics/Cheer Program — Teaching children basic tumbling and advanced gymnastics long with helping with youth cheerleading teams with choreographing and stunting.
- Summer Sports Coaches — Tennis, Cheer, Swim Team and Track and Field.
- Summer Aquatics — Pool house administration, Swim team and Swim lessons.
- Nite Court — Every Saturday night (Generally from 8pm to 10pm) chaperons are needed to watch and work with children that attend Nite Court.
- Partners With Youth Campaign — Annual sustaining campaign support through joining a team to “Friend raise” and tell the community about the YMCA and to pledge gifts for local scholarships to children who cannot afford the program fees.
- Special Events — Be a part of our volunteer teams that help put together our Christmas fundraiser party to helping with the community annual Easter Egg Hunt.
- Office Assistance — Various duties from computer typing to sorting flyers.
