As many of you know, Sports Director Susan Sasano and Office Assistant Keith are from Hawaii, so come down to the YMCA table at the annual Silverton Celebration of Cultures on Friday, May 3, from 6 – 9pm in Downtown Silverton! We’ll be located in the historic Wolf Building, with lots of Hawaiian music, food samples, and activities for all ages.
Susan and Keith are also Japanese-Americans, so Keith’s daughter, Sarah, will be helping kids and families with Origami and Manga/Anime Art activities – including the famous Origami Sumo Tournament!
If you stop by, be sure to pick up some information about our Summer Soccer and Day Camp programs. If you haven’t already registered, we’ll also have forms for our K-5 and Pre-K Track & Field programs, which are about to begin.

AquaX:
Traditional water aerobics class- good for getting your feet wet and your heart rate up
Monday-Friday 8:00-9:00am
Tuesday/Thursday 12:00-1:00pm
Monday-Thursday 6:00-7:00pm
Aqua Boot Camp:
Not for the faint of Heart – rigorous Aquacise in the shallow end
Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-7:15am
Stretch and Tone:
Improve flexibility, muscle tone, and circulation with lower intensity movements
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00-10:00am
Ai Chi (Water Tai Chi):
Relax in the water with moves based in the art of Tai Chi
Tuesday/Thursday 9:00-10:00am
Aqua Burn:
Higher intensity water aerobics

Aqua Yoga/Pilates:
Work on your flexibility with slower movements and deeper Yoga-based stretches
